Throughout his career Robert J Schuster has worked on Magic: The Gathering at Wizard's of The Coast , Destiny 2 at Bungie, Valorant at Riot, and on Fortnite at Epic Games. Chances are if you've played any of those games you've interacted with systems designed at least in part by Robert. Earlier this year he was unfortunately one of the devs impacted by the 1,000 jobs cut by Fortnite maker Epic. We chat about his lengthy career, the state of the industry, and despite our best efforts a lot about Magic.
