Welcome to Season 3 of Divorced People Podcast! We are starting our season off with Oona Metz, therapist, author, & twice divorced person. Oona is releasing a new book, Unhitched: The Essential Divorce Guide for Women, comes out TODAY and we are thrilled to be able to be a small part of her journey in sharing this book with the world. Oona discusses the world of divorce specifically to women and what she's learned through her many clients and therapy sessions. Nik + Nat Chat about the Heather Anne Interview and their thoughts on how Heather processed her divorce, healed, and the things she learned about herself during this transformation. Heather used her art to heal and physically process her divorce. She is a fierce warrior in breaking the stigma of divorce and that lesson that so many women learn as little girls, to just stay quiet and put up with conflict in their marriage. She was truly inspirational in how she handled her divorce, especially being that she did not make the choice to divorce, it was made for her, through an email. This is our final episode of season 2! It's been truly magical and special for us to produce this season, interview our guests who have been so open and willing to share a glimpse into their story, and connect with our listeners and hear how much each episode means to them. Heather Anne's episode is a perfect way to end the season. She is an artist who shows us healing and strength in her unique and powerful way. Her story breaks the stigma surrounding how women are expected to behave and to survive marriage, instead of thrive in it. She lets us in to her ritual of healing that she did to process the end of her marriage, which is something you definitely want to hear.
