Acerca de Eldest Daughter Diaries Podcast

The Eldest Daughter Diaries Podcast is a community-forward space where we, Kenecia & Krystal, two eldest daughters from different cultures and backgrounds, share our candid experiences that shaped us as eldest daughters. We talk about how being an eldest daughter impacted us (and still does), how we grew, evolved, and learned how to thrive, while staying connected with our families. There will be belly laughs, intimate share, gems from years of therapy, honest storytelling, and most of all, encouragement, inspiration, and lots of love for our fellow eldest daughters who are changing the world just by being themselves. This podcast is a way to create our own spotlight for recognition, celebration, inspiration, motivation, and giving each other our well overdue flowers. We’ve learned to put everyone else first, including their needs, stories, and opinions. Our intention is always to keep our conversations honest and respectful (we’re not interested in bad mouthing anyone) and…these are our stories to own. In the end, we’re hoping other eldest daughters can learn how they might be able to maneuver these dynamics by hearing our experiences and seeing what else might be possible.
