In Episode 4 of Faith & Practice, we explore an important question: Where does discipleship actually happen? Many Christians think of discipleship primarily in terms of church programs, Bible studies, or ministry events, but Scripture presents something much broader. Discipleship happens within the life of the local church and extends into every sphere of everyday life. In this episode, we discuss why the church is God’s primary context for spiritual formation, why Christianity cannot be lived faithfully in isolation, and how discipleship shapes our homes, relationships, work, habits, and daily routines.
