You were literally fine five minutes ago. Then suddenly somebody uploads: a boat day, perfect skin, a cute friend group, matching bikinis, an aesthetic fruit bowl, and now your brain is like: “Dang. Maybe my whole life is ugly.” BE SO FOR REAL. Episode 8 is for the girls whose mood has been held hostage by other people’s highlight reels this summer. Because summer turns comparison into an Olympic sport. Everybody’s posting: the vacations. the bonfires. the cabins. the lake trips. the “best summer everrrr” captions. No because I saw a girl today taking photos for SO long. Hair flip. Fake laugh. Walking toward the camera. Walking away from the camera. Pretending not to notice the camera. The whole cinematic universe. And listen—she was GORGEOUS. Like genuinely stunning. But the second the phone dropped? Her whole energy changed. It was like watching someone clock out of a job. And honestly… I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Episode 4? Oh this one is DIFFERENT. We’re talking about the exhausting pressure to constantly perform. To always be “on.” To look cool.
