A three-year-old girl is recovering after falling into a sinkhole in Wetland informal settlement in Khayelitsha last Monday; historic buildings in McGregor left to be stripped by vandals, despite provincial MPLs recommending it be used as a safe house; a free World Refugee Day concert was held at the Central Methodist Mission at a time of heightened tension against undocumented foreign nationals in South Africa.
