Endo almost killed her: Surgery Mistakes, Infertility, & Lost friendships

This episode is a heavy one. Holly opens up about what happens when endometriosis isn’t just misunderstood… but mishandled. From surgical mistakes that made things worse, to navigating a deeply emotional fertility journey, to battling depression, and losing friendships, Holly shares what it really looks like behind the scenes. She also talks about the friendships that showed up for her… and the ones that didn’t. Because when you’re going through something this isolating, you quickly learn who’s truly in your corner. At one point, her health declined so severely that she was close to going septic. A moment that changed everything. This conversation is raw, honest, and a reminder that endometriosis is never “just bad periods.” If you’ve ever felt dismissed, let down by the medical system, or alone in your experience, this episode will hit home. Navigating Career, Friendship & Fertility with Endo: Ashley Alexander-Birch

Ashley Alexander-Birch has been part of Yasmin’s life since their fashion school days, but behind the scenes, she’s been navigating something much bigger than career milestones. Trigger warning: This episode includes discussion of IVF, fertility journeys, and pregnancy. Please take care while listening and skip this episode if it feels too sensitive right now. In this episode, Ash opens up about her experience living with endometriosis while building a high-pressure career as a marketing director for several global drinks brands. She shares what it was like getting her first period, how her symptoms showed up around friends and family, and the reality of managing endo in professional spaces where understanding isn’t always guaranteed. We also talk about workplace discrimination, the invisible ways endo can impact confidence and performance, and what it actually means to support someone living with chronic illness. Ash also shares her fertility journey and pregnancy experience, offering an honest look at the emotional and physical layers that come with navigating endo and family planning. This episode is for anyone trying to balance ambition, relationships, and their health, or anyone who wants to better understand how to show up for someone they love with endometriosis.

The Dancer Who Became an Endo Advocate: Emma Rose

In this episode of Hot Girls Have Endo, Yasmin sits down with Emma Rose, a former ballerina who now uses her voice to advocate for the endometriosis community. Emma shares what it was like growing up training in ballet, the discipline and passion that shaped her identity, and the devastating moment when endometriosis began interfering with the future she had always imagined. We talk about the grief of losing a dream, navigating chronic pain while trying to be understood by doctors and the people around you, and how Emma eventually found purpose in speaking up for other women going through the same thing. Emma also opens up about life as a “crunchy military wife,” how she approaches health and healing, and the lessons she has learned along the way. If you’ve ever felt dismissed, misunderstood, or forced to give up something you loved because of endometriosis, we hope you take something from this episode. episode When the Expert Is the Patient: Savannah Regensburger, MS, MBA, CNS artwork

When the Expert Is the Patient: Savannah Regensburger, MS, MBA, CNS

Episode 1: When the Expert Is the Patient With Savannah Regensburger, MS, MBA, CNS In the very first episode of Hot Girls Have Endo, Yasmin sits down with nutritionist and endometriosis expert Savannah Regensburger, MS, MBA, CNS, who also happens to be living with endo herself. In this conversation, Savannah shares what it’s like to navigate the condition from both sides: as a practitioner helping others and as someone experiencing the reality of endometriosis in her own body. Together, they talk about the concept of the “endo toolbox” which is the idea that managing endometriosis often involves many different pieces working together over time. From nutrition and movement to sleep, hydration, mental health, and community, Savannah explains why there’s rarely just one solution and why building a personalized approach matters. This episode is an honest, thoughtful conversation about navigating endometriosis in the real world, learning to listen to your body, and finding strategies that support your overall well-being. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by all the advice out there, this episode is a reminder that you don’t have to do everything perfectly — you just have to find what works for you. In this episode we discuss: * What it’s like when the expert is also the patient * The idea of the “endo toolbox” and why no single approach works for everyone * Nutrition, lifestyle habits, and inflammation * The importance of mental, social, and emotional health * Why perfection isn’t the goal when managing endometriosis You can follow Savannah on her social platforms via the links below: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/savannahregensburger/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@savregensburger?lang=en Use "HOTGIRLS10" to save 10% off your first Daea*:  https://daeawell.com/products/endo-support   *not valid on subscriptions Learn more about Daea: https://daeawell.com/

episode Welcome to Hot Girls Have Endo artwork

Welcome to Hot Girls Have Endo

Welcome to Hot Girls Have Endo podcast! The podcast where we talk about the parts of endometriosis no one prepared us for. The pain. The gaslighting. The inflammation. The way it can quietly take over your body, and your life. And yes, before we go any further… the name is intentional. Hot Girls Have Endo comes from that ridiculous — and later retracted — study that tried to link endometriosis with attractiveness. As if this condition needed a headline like that. As if our pain needed to be packaged into something more acceptable. So we decided to reclaim it. Hot means resilience. Hot means showing up, even when your body feels like it’s fighting you. Hot means advocating for yourself after being dismissed. Hot means building a life that isn’t defined by shame, silence, or “just a bad period.” Because endometriosis isn’t just cramps. It’s inflammatory. It’s systemic. It impacts your energy, your mood, your relationships, your fertility, your confidence, sometimes all at once. This podcast is where we talk about it honestly. The messy parts. The hopeful parts. The real parts.
