An Update In My Life From The First Half of 2024 (Last Audio Podcast)

This is the FINAL audio podcast episode on the HubTalk Chronicles on the Spotify/Anchor platform. We will be transitioning from Spotify/Anchor to YouTube. The HubTalk Chronicles will still up here on Spotify/Anchor but new episodes will be aired on YouTube with new visual styles and everything. We will also discuss everything that happened in transit and transportation in the first half of 2024. ============================================= In this last podcast episode on this platform, I will explain everything that has happened within the past year or so. I lost my dear friend, Ryan Theorsen Carson [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4RRq5YNr1Q7BqWwLNIUVqS?si=6deb34cc3dbf453a] this past October due to murder and this month here, I lost my brother due to congestive heart failure. I have to deal with the pain and emotional trauma of losing two people close to me. Some days, I just find it hard to keep on going but I know deep down inside, I just need find the will keep on going. I will always cherish their memories and keep them in my heart forever. I miss both Ryan and my brother dearly and I wish that they were still alive right now. Rest in peace to them both.

episode Remembering NYC Activist Ryan Theorsen Carson artwork

Remembering NYC Activist Ryan Theorsen Carson

I know this is three weeks behind, but please bear with me. This podcast episode is in dedication and remembrance of our late beloved New York City environmental and social justice activist, Ryan Theorsen Carsen. In the early morning hours of Monday, October 2nd, Ryan's life was snuffed from him by a dirty no-good lowlife whom he did not know at all. His girlfriend, Claudia Morales, was unharmed but got spat on. They were both coming home from a wedding in Long Island. Ryan was a native of East Bridgewater, which is 30 miles south of Boston. He moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2010 to pursue his activism career. From reading his work, and poetry, to watching all of the activism work he was doing from climate change to trying to end the opioid pandemic, I was touched. He truly wanted to make the world a better place for everyone in NYC and the world. To all the right-wingers and vile media trolls that used Ryan's activism and work, to try to justify his untimely demise, Y'ALL ARE DISGUSTING! He was not anti-police, pro-BLM, or whatever it is that you try to pin on him and his girlfriend. Ryan lost his life for nothing and instead of being sympathetic, you choose the obvious route to make up lies. Don't worry. Another round of defamation lawsuits are coming your way. Anyway, I (as pretty much as everyone else) saw the whole senseless act unfold before our very eyes. It brought me to tears (and yes, I was crying. So you can call me soft, soyboy, etc. I don't care). Ryan was a good guy who was pure of joy with hope for a brighter future. It's awful what has happened to him. As for the lowlife that did this to Ryan, I would never forgive him. Hope that he rots behind bars and never sees the light of day ever again. He took from Ryan that no one else had the right to take, LIFE! To the friends and family of Ryan and all that knew in NYC and in Boston, I just want to say that I am so sorry that this happened. He didn't deserve that at all and I don't care what negative comments people have to say. If you're not gonna offer condolences, then keep the negativity to yourself. Please, I STRONGLY urge you guys to listen to the video podcast (if you want ofc. I am not forcing you to. I only did this episode of the kindness of my heart). We lost a great contributor to the world that has gone too soon. Sad, gutwrenching, and heart-aching all once. Rest easily, Ryan Theorsen Carsen. We will make sure that your work continues and that you live forever in the hearts and memories of those who love you.

No (M) Trains Along Queens Boulevard Until The End Of The Year; (F) Trains Rerouted via 53rd Street; 63rd St Tube Repairs

If you do not remember, starting on August 28th until the first quarter of 2024, the 63rd Street tunnel, which carries the F train, will have restricted service due to track replacement. (F) trains will be rerouted between Manhattan and Queens in both directions and weekday (M) trains will be partially suspended.  F trains will run on the E line at all times in both directions between 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av. On weekdays, M trains will not run in either direction between 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center and Forest Hills-71 Av and will terminate at 57 St-6th Av. A special shuttle train will run every 20 minutes in each direction between Lexington Av/63 St and 21 St-Queensbridge, stopping at Roosevelt Island. The shuttle train will not run overnight. Free shuttle buses will run between 21 St-Queensbridge and Queens Plaza days and evenings, and between Roosevelt Island, 21 St-Queensbridge, and Queens Plaza overnight. Listen for announcements, read more information about this online on the MTA website, and pay attention to your local news station in regard to this service change. Enjoy!
