episode Logan Tipton artwork

Logan Tipton

Logan Tipton was a 6-year-old boy whose life was stolen in an act of violence that forever changed his family, his community, and the conversation around justice. What happened inside the Tipton home on that December night is almost impossible to comprehend. A family asleep in the place they felt safest. A quiet town that believed something like this could never happen there. And a little boy who was deeply loved by everyone around him. In this episode, we unpack the devastating events of that night, the controversial legal outcome that followed, and the outrage that reignited years later when the person responsible was released early. We also talk about the lasting impact on Logan’s family, the fight that led to Logan’s Law, and the difficult questions this case still leaves behind. This is a story about grief, justice, and a family that refused to let Logan’s name be forgotten. episode Joshua Maddux artwork

Joshua Maddux

Join us as we dive into one of Colorado’s most haunting mysteries: the death of Joshua Maddux in Woodland Park. In 2008, 18-year-old Josh walked out of his house for what should have been a normal walk and never came home. For seven years, his family searched for answers while holding onto hope that he was still out there somewhere. Then, in 2015, Josh’s remains were discovered in the chimney of an abandoned cabin less than a mile from his home. Authorities ruled his death an accident, but the bizarre details surrounding the scene sparked countless questions and theories that still divide people to this day. From strange evidence inside the cabin to rumors that were never fully investigated, this case only gets more unsettling the deeper you look. Was Joshua Maddux’s death truly a tragic accident… or was something else going on in Woodland Park? episode Paul Skiba, Sarah Skiba & Lorenzo Chivers artwork

Paul Skiba, Sarah Skiba & Lorenzo Chivers

We're starting Season 3 off with a case that isn’t just unsolved. It’s unfinished. Sam and I started this podcast to give a voice to victims who can no longer speak for themselves… and to help families still searching for answers. This case is exactly why we’re here. On February 7, 1999, Paul Skiba, his 9-year-old daughter Sarah, and employee Lorenzo Chivers vanished from a moving company lot in Westminster, Colorado. At first, it was treated like a simple custody issue. But what was left behind tells a very different story—one of violence, missed warning signs, and a crime scene that wasn’t taken seriously until it was far too late. In this episode, we break down the timeline of that day, the devastating investigative missteps, and the disturbing evidence that eventually surfaced. We explore the people closest to Paul, the tensions building in the days leading up to their disappearance, and the theories that still divide this case decades later. This isn’t a cold case because it can’t be solved. It’s a case that’s been waiting for the right lead, the right memory, the right person to come forward. Because someone knows something. And after 27 years, that missing piece could still be out there. This is the story of Paul Skiba, Sarah Skiba, and Lorenzo Chivers and the answers that may be closer than we think. If you have ANY information about this case, please contact: Westminster Police Department: 303-658-4360 Metro Denver Crime Stoppers: 720-913-7867 A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a break in the case. episode Marcus Freeman, Brittany Palumbo, & Wesley McKinley artwork

Marcus Freeman, Brittany Palumbo, & Wesley McKinley

When three students from North Port High School—Marcus Freeman, Brittany Palumbo, and Wesley McKinley—died within a short span of time, the community was left searching for answers. Vigils were held. Questions lingered. And slowly, attention turned toward something few could fully explain. Some students spoke about unusual one-on-one hypnosis sessions with Principal Kenney. Techniques that felt, to them, like more than guidance. Like influence. In this episode, we examine what can be confirmed, what remains speculation, and how a community processes grief when certainty is out of reach. Through interviews, reported details, and the lingering questions explored in the documentary Look Into My Eyes, we follow the investigation as it attempts to separate fact from fear. Is there a connection between these tragedies? Or are people trying to make sense of loss by building a narrative around it? Sometimes, the hardest truth is not knowing. And sometimes, not knowing is what stays with you.
