In local sports: The Mariners saw their eight-game winning streak end Wednesday night, falling 7-1 to the New York Mets at T-Mobile Park. J.P. Crawford hit a solo home run for Seattle's only run, but the Mets broke it open with four in the fourth inning off George Kirby.
