The lesson opens with the cleansing of the ten lepers—a powerful account that highlights faith, obedience, and gratitude. Although all ten men are healed as they act in faith on Yeshua’s command, only one returns to give thanks. Monte Judah explains the Torah background behind the law of leprosy, the priestly cleansing ritual, and why the healing of lepers was understood as a sign of Messiah’s presence in the land. This moment becomes a teaching not only about gratitude toward God, but about ministry itself—why many receive help, yet only a few remain committed.
The teaching then shifts to a discussion of the Kingdom of God. When questioned by the Pharisees about when the Kingdom would come, Yeshua responds that it is already “in your midst.” Monte Judah defines the Kingdom using three biblical elements: a King, a land, and servants. With Messiah present in the land and disciples following Him, the Kingdom had already begun—yet a greater, future Kingdom still lies ahead.
From there, Yeshua begins addressing His future departure and return. He explains that His coming will not be gradual or hidden, but sudden and unmistakable—like lightning across the sky. Before that return, however, He must suffer, be rejected, and accomplish redemption so that the Kingdom can expand through many servants.
Yeshua then describes what the world will be like just before His return, comparing it to the days of Noah and the days of Lot. Life will appear normal—people eating, marrying, buying, and building—while judgment draws near. Monte Judah clarifies common misunderstandings about end-time signs, emphasizing that Scripture does not point to chaos alone as the final sign, but rather a world continuing on unaware, just as before the Flood.
The episode concludes with a sober explanation of survival, escape, and endurance during the Great Tribulation. Drawing from Luke 17, Matthew 24, Revelation, and the Exodus pattern, Monte Judah outlines the biblical paths believers will face—highlighting that endurance ultimately comes not from human preparation alone, but from trusting God to save, sustain, and deliver His servants.
This teaching calls believers to gratitude, faithfulness, readiness, and endurance—reminding us that the Kingdom of God is already among us, yet a far greater fulfillment is still ahead.
