Zanetti's opening in Marbella, and Red Wine Gate!

Welcome to Marbella with Him & Her, your weekly podcast about Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara presented by husband and wife duo PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah). It was certainly a busy week for them both starting straight after recording the previous week's podcast as they headed to The Hogan Stand for PJ's quiz teams winner's lunch. Each week the winning team win a €40 voucher to spend at The Hogan Stand on a separate occasion, so the team decided to use it towards a lunch. Listen to find out some of the yummy food they had. Hannah's entrepreneur of the week last week was one of The Sisterhood members who Hannah did the India tuktuk challenge with, Dani Wallace who runs a huge inclusive networking event in the UK called The Big Festoon. She also chatted with previous winner of Race Across The World, Alfie Watts about his next travel challenge which funnily enough involves driving a tuk-tuk from London to Norway to raise money are awareness for a mental health charity called Young Minds, under the hashtag #Brighterdaysarecoming It would not be a podcast without the mention of food and there was lots to speak about this week starting with Hannah's weekly trip to Amberchou with her dad, and then on to Exoticca for a Poke bowl with another member of The Sisterhood who was over in Marbella and had reached out to meet for lunch. PJ had to adopt his Mr Fixit mode when their dishwasher failed, having to turn it upside down and remove the motor. Find out how he got on! Hannah shares some tips that she discussed with Be Spain Savvy about Café con hielo and how to pour it. Did it work? PJ also made some POKE bowls for lunch during the week combining things like mayo and chipotle for the dressing. Friday night they were out with friends Amy and Ross for the opening of Zanetti's at Tibu in Puerto Banus. The evening did not start as planned with Hannah's new shoes she was wearing for the first time breaking as they walked along the port. Then while in Zanetti's there was a little bit of a drinks spillage that ended up all over PJ. After a change of plan for the evening, they headed back to San Pedro so PJ could change before heading to El Candil for wine, cheese and jamon. Meanwhile Hannah had gone to task on getting the red wine out of PJ's brand new Hugo Boss shirt that he had bought for an upcoming wedding. Listen to hear the results of her endeavours. They discuss some of the TV shows they have been watching including the amazing documentary on Kylie Minogue and the new series of Welcome to Wrexham where they heard possibly one of the best ever sayings from someone on the show. Before recording the podcast, they had been invited for breakfast at a new restaurant called Remy's Bistro. They absolutely loved the food and also have some big news about what the owner and chef will be doing from June. During the week they added some updates on the San Pedro Guide (@sanpedromarbellaguide) about new places opening including a new healthy food place called Plant Shack, the Art Bakery San Pedro, the new Pilates 34 Hot Pilates studio, an update on the new restaurant D'gustation and a concept shop called The Loft that also has a popup café by Art Bakery.
