Acerca de BIBLE STUDY PODCAST

As we all know, life can get crazy busy with well…life. Everyone has seasons that don’t allow for heavy time commitments to a weekly Bible study at their church or in their neighborhood. That’s why we’ve created a podcast space where you can come and go, as your schedule allows, that points you toward Jesus and His Word. Each season, a combination of our hosts – Kristy Allen, Micah Harrison, Kelly Meadows, and Matt Winter – will discuss a Bible study and share with you what they have learned and how God is moving in their lives as they go through the study.

Awkward but Beautiful: Why Song of Songs Is Still So Real Today

In this episode, we dive into Song of Songs 6:4–12 and explore what it means to truly delight in one another. From poetic metaphors to real-life marriage conversations, our hosts reflect on the beauty of being chosen, cherished, and called “flawless” despite our brokenness. Whether you're single, dating, or married, this conversation is packed with honest insights, biblical wisdom, and practical encouragement for your relationships. 🌿 Learn why love that grows still needs tending. 🧡 See how delighting in your spouse reflects God's love for us. ✨ And yes... we talk about nut groves (you’re welcome). Join us for a fun, vulnerable, and surprisingly deep discussion that reminds us: love is intentional, spiritual, and worth the work. ============================ Scripture ============================= 📖 Song of Songs 6:4–12 ============================= Reflection Questions: ============================= ✅ What is your default mental image of your spouse (or loved one)? From Shame to Sacred: Why the Church Should Talk About Sex

episode Who Will See? Faith, Surrender, and the Road to Jerusalem artwork

Who Will See? Faith, Surrender, and the Road to Jerusalem

In this episode, we explore Luke 18:9–19:44, where Jesus challenges pride and self-reliance, calling His followers to radical humility and deep trust in the Father. Through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, He contrasts outward righteousness with a repentant heart. We see children lifted as models of kingdom faith, while a wealthy ruler walks away—unwilling to surrender all. Yet Jesus promises that sacrificial trust in Him will not go unrewarded. As He foretells His death and heals a blind man, Jesus steadily turns His face toward Jerusalem. In Zacchaeus’ story, we witness salvation come to a home, underscoring His mission to seek and save the lost. Finally, Jesus weeps over the city that will reject Him, revealing the grief of a Messiah whose path to glory leads through rejection and sacrifice. 🔔 Subscribe and join the journey through the Gospel of Luke! ============================= Scripture ============================= 📖  Luke 18:9–19:44 ============================= Bible Study Podcast: Channel Credits ============================= 🎙️ HOSTS:: Kristy Allen, Micah Harrison, Matt Winter 🎛️ PRODUCTION + MIXING:: Lepard Productions 🎨 CREATIVE DIRECTOR:: Colin McFarland   A Product of Lepard Productions + The Mission Hills Podcast Network in Littleton, CO. © Mission Hills Church - All Rights Reserved
