The Resurrection of Jesus | The Empty Tomb Changes Everything | Mark 16:1–8

In this episode of My Bible Life, we reach one of the most powerful and foundational moments in all of Scripture — the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Mark 16:1–8, several women come to the tomb early on Sunday morning expecting to complete burial preparations. Instead, they discover the stone rolled away and hear the astonishing message from an angel: “He has risen. He is not here.” The empty tomb confirms everything Jesus claimed about Himself. The Burial of Jesus | Courage, Prophecy & the Sealed Tomb | Mark 15:42–47

In this episode of My Bible Life, we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Gospel of Mark as we examine the burial of Jesus in Mark 15:42–47. After the crucifixion, an unexpected figure steps forward — Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the Jewish council. With courage, he goes to Pontius Pilate and asks for Jesus' body. Pilate confirms Jesus’ death through the Roman centurion before granting the request. Joseph carefully wraps Jesus in linen and places Him in a tomb cut from rock, sealing the entrance with a large stone.
