Southern Miss Baseball Wins Sun Belt Tournament; Hattiesburg Regional Next as No. 9 Seed

Southern Miss baseball battled adversity all last week and weekend in Montgomery due to weather delays, but it came out of it with a Sun Belt Conference tournament championship and will now prepare for a Hattiesburg Regional as the No. 9 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team not only notched their 10th consecutive 40-season with this past weekend's sweep of Georgia Southern, but it also secured its first-ever outright regular-season Sun Belt Conference championship. The pitching over the weekend was outstanding, and the bats weren't too shabby either.
