Welcome to my first video podcast! In it I tell you a little bit about myself and my past mental and emotional struggles. I also talk about my slight hesitation with creating a podcast which is largely focused around spirituality and conscious awakening. I am passionate about this topic however I certainly do not claim to be a spiritual guru or enlightened being! To help make this more of a relaxing experience, please see me not as a spiritual teacher (yet), but rather look at me as someone who, perhaps like you, is following this ongoing path of spiritual awakening/deepening 🙂 The back bone of this podcast is spiritual awakening but for now, I will be broadening my niche to make it about wellness for the mind, body and soul. Looking after our minds and bodies is very important and can also make the process of spiritual awakening a lot easier. Instead of considering me a spiritual teacher, please consider me a soon to be health and wellness coach - if you wish to give me any label at all. I don't need one really! In this video I talk a bit about negative old thinking patterns and suggest ways to help release them. One way is of course by returning our awareness to the present moment. But some thought patterns can feel particularly sticky. To help you release your attachment to them I suggest subconscious reprogramming - listening to positive affirmations at night. In this video I share a short 8 minute EFT tapping session to help us reconnect to our bodies and release old stuck thoughts in a gentle way. You may also find that you feel a bit more calm and clear headed after practicing this short EFT tapping sequence.
