Bigfoot Sightings That Probably Weren't Bigfoot | A Blurry Line Between Monster & Mistaken Identity

While many Bigfoot sightings can make for very compelling witness testimony, there are always alleged encounters with the creature that are much less so. Sometimes the Sasquatch is seen at a great distance, sometimes it closely resembles a bear, and on rare occasions, a case can be made for it simply being a man in a gorilla suit. For our 200th episode, I'm examining some Bigfoot sightings that probably weren't actually Bigfoot. I look at a collection of stories from Maine, West Virginia, New Jersey, Georgia, Missouri, and Ohio, where the creature that was seen doesn't really resemble the Bigfoot we all know and love. Bigfoot Sightings in Maine | York, Hancock, Androscoggin and Penobscot Counties

Maine has a long history of Bigfoot sightings, but locals tend to stay tight-lipped about their experiences. So this week I'm collecting stories from all over the state, including York, Hancock, Androscoggin, and Penobscot counties! Ghosts of Gettysburg | Haunting Encounters at the Rose Farm and Wheatfield

I just got back from a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where we stayed at the historic Rose Farm. This site, comprised of the farm, the legendary Wheatfield, and Rose Woods, saw some of the fiercest fighting of the battle on July 2nd, 1863. Thousands of men were wounded and died here, and hundreds were buried on the Wheatfield, Rose Farm, and even right outside the Rose House itself. After the battle, the house remained a field hospital for wounded soldiers. Due to all the death and tragedy that happened there, many people believe the area to be haunted by the spirits of the soldiers who lost their lives there. Bigfoot Sightings in the Pine Barrens | Ocean County, New Jersey

The Pine Barrens of New Jersey are home to one of cryptozoology's most famous cryptids, the Jersey Devil. But the Pinelands are also home to many other creepy legends and folklore, including ghost stories, UFO sightings, and of course, Bigfoot. So this week I'm taking a look at some Bigfoot sightings in Ocean County! Bigfoot Sightings in Central New York | Otsego and Chenango County

I'm extending my stay in Central New York this week as I take a look at some Bigfoot sightings in Otsego and Chenango counties!
