Descripción

First of all, my apologies for this being so late. Ended up getting bogged down in a lot of Pens streams and stuff during Draft Week in Pittsburgh, so not much time to truly focus on this until now. However, the 2021 NFL Draft still has to be assessed at the five-year point. It's a complicated legacy. The draft itself is littered with outstanding talents, future Hall of Famers and team legends alike, from the breakout stars to the horrific flops... speaking of flops, that's the other big thing from this class. The Quarterback Class was looking to be one of the best in recent memory at the time of the draft. As time has passed, it's become a nightmare for many franchises. Honestly, only one first rounder has come anywhere close to his original hype and projections. That alone makes it a what-if class, and this episode will delve into why that is... I think.

The Rise & Fall of Fanatics: The Worst Company in Sports History

Fanatics is a company. One that is quite beloved by the sports community for a variety of reasons. Could be for their invasive stranglehold on everything in the merchandising sector for your favorite team. Could be for their efforts to diversify their portfolio. More than likely due to the litany of errors, misspellings, and poor quality that plague their products. In this episode l go over their history, their rise through the sports world, their consumption of everything in their path, and the infamy that they've gathered over the years.A little different from my usual fare, but figured it'd be an interesting topic to go over. The Haters Guide to the 2026 NBA Finals

Welcome to the world of memes... and basketball. I firmly believe that these playoffs are more known for both the hilarious crashouts and sudden implosions than the actual basketball (epic OKC/SA Western Conference Final series a big exemption to this rule).Blown 3-1 series leads!Forty-five minutes between baskets! The largest halftime lead in NBA Playoff history!Winning games analytically! If your name wasn't Chet Holmgren or Jalen Duren, you're probably breathing a sigh of relief: You didn't become a punching bag this offseason. That is, if Tom Dundon didn't cheap out on you in the process... or get hurt like KD did. This was most certainly a playoff gauntlet, and the stage is set for a final clash harkening us back to the days of the 20th century: Spurs vs. Knicks. Let's dig in to the memes and madness, shall we?

The Haters Guide to the 2025/26 NHL Season: Debriefing

The NHL Playoffs may be well into their festivities (with plenty of pain to go around), but we have to remember the sixteen other teams that failed to make it entirely. There was plenty of golfing to be had over the past month (and more to come), but the reasons they failed throughout the year were varied. Some are starting rebuilds. Some are struggling to break out of them. Some were wrecked by injuries. Some had everything fall apart. Some are simply doomed. And some are the Canucks. It will be the end for a few former stars, both on their current teams and (for some) their careers entirely. Coaches fired, GM's canned, new regimes taking center stage in the great play of hockey itself. This episode is in dedication to their failures, both big and small. May they continue to be trainwrecks for our enjoyment (particularly division rivals).
