Plastic Surgery: What the reveal reveals.
"I don't want to call it easy, but it was much easier than I thought it would be." This lovely patient is 48-year-old and is two weeks out from her drainless abdominoplasty, removal and replace of her implants, and mastopexy. She is very happy that she was drainless because she was able to get back to her normal life quicker. Dr. Claytor tells all his patients that they're going to hate him for the first 3 days, which this patient confirms is very accurate, but she could feel herself getting better everyday. At 2 weeks, she is completely off her pain medications and only needs a muscle relaxer to help her get a full night of sleep. This patient's belly button was deemed unviable during the procedure, so she had what is called a neo-umbilicus procedure. This means that Dr. Claytor completely reconstructed her belly button during the operation. She was very diligent about following post-op instructions for blood clot prevention. This is a program that Dr. Claytor created to ensure the health and safety of his patients after their procedures. Thank you for tuning in to Plastic Surgery: What the reveal reveals!
