Acerca de Resonance Rising

Resonance Rising is a podcast for women who lead from depth, carry responsibility, and feel the quiet knowing that something is unfolding. Hosted by Leadership Mentor & Speaker Jess Garay, this show explores leadership as a lived, embodied experience - one shaped by presence, integrity, and inner authority. Through lived experience, Human Design, and honest reflection, Resonance Rising examines how responsibility can quietly overtake identity, why burnout is often a loss of aliveness rather than capacity, what leadership asks of us in seasons of grief, change, and complexity, and how clarity forms through choice, presence, and embodiment. Each episode invites a return to authorship over your life and work, to leadership that moves in rhythm with who you are becoming, and to a deeper relationship with truth, values, and responsibility. These are conversations for women who are trusted, relied on, and ready to lead from within. Women navigating expansion, refinement, or transition. Women who know leadership doesn't disappear in hard seasons, it deepens. This is not a podcast about fixing yourself. It's a space for remembering what you already know, listening to what is alive, and allowing leadership to evolve as you do. If you're ready to move without abandoning yourself, to choose with integrity even when clarity feels incomplete, and to lead in a way that holds both humanity and power - Welcome to Resonance Rising 🦋

Episode 21: The Ceiling You Can't See

In this episode of Resonance Rising, Jess shares about a room she walked into on Saturday - 150 women, different voices, different backgrounds, different ways of seeing the world and leadership and what it means to build something that matters. She took pages of notes, and what she noticed is that those notes fell into three categories - things that resonated deeply, things she disagreed with and had to sit with why, and things that had nothing to do with what was being said on stage but everything to do with what got activated in her by being in that room. She speaks to what happens when we only let in the rooms that reflect us back because we gravitate toward the familiar, toward the conversations that feel like home, and how that wisdom becomes a wall. What stops being built isn't what we tried and failed at, it's what never got far enough to try, and the ceiling that forms not because we hit it, but because we stopped being able to see past it. Through the lens of Human Design, Jess explores what it means to understand that every person around you is carrying a lens you don't have access to unless you ask, and how the picture only becomes clear when more perspectives are in the room. This episode is for the woman who has been gravitating toward the familiar, and who is ready to find the room that stretches her and come home more herself than when she arrived. Go find the room. episode Episode 20: The Promise You Made To Yourself artwork

Episode 20: The Promise You Made To Yourself

In this episode of Resonance Rising, Jess speaks to the difference between intending and deciding, and why we find ourselves making the same decision over and over, meaning it every single time, and still ending up back at the same place. She speaks to the woman who keeps recommitting, and how that cycle becomes a story, and the story becomes identity, built from accumulated evidence, one recommitment at a time. She speaks to why that pattern is not failure, and it's not who she is. It's what happens when we've been hoping without choosing, circling the door without ever letting it close behind us. A decision is different from an intention. It closes a door, it asks you to move, and in the space between the decision and the doing, the doubt, the old story, the voice that sounds like wisdom but lives in the body like fear. Jess speaks to how to feel the difference, and what becomes available when we stop making decisions from our history and start making them from our knowing. Through the lens of Human Design, she explores how your inner authority is the mechanism that makes a decision feel truly yours, and how when it does, the follow through becomes less about discipline and more about trust. This episode is for the woman who is ready to understand that none of what came before was failure. The compass was always there. The knowing was never missing, and today she gets to decide. Keep the promise, let the evidence build, and watch what moves. episode Episode 19: Everything Is Connected To Everything artwork

Episode 19: Everything Is Connected To Everything

In this episode of Resonance Rising, Jess offers a different lens on the life that's already here. One that changes everything about what you believe is possible. She speaks to the experience of trying consistently, investing deeply, showing up fully, and still feeling a gap underneath it all. A "this isn't quite it" feeling that lives beneath. She speaks to why that gap exists, and it's not what most of us have decided about ourselves or others. We've been taught to see our lives as separate things, and we are not separate things. We are one system - one living, breathing, constantly moving system where everything is in conversation with everything else, all the time. Somewhere inside that system is a first domino. One shift, one root, one change that when you find it and tip it with full belief, creates a ripple through your energy, your relationships, your work, your leadership, and your sense of what's possible. Through the lens of Human Design, Jess explores what it means to finally have the right map, your souls blueprint. How your design reveals the way you're actually built to make decisions, where your energy truly comes from, and what you've been working against that was never yours to carry, and what becomes possible when a woman stops navigating by someone else's map and starts moving from her own. This episode is for the woman who keeps circling the thing that whispers. Who has tried with everything she has and still feels the gap. Who is ready to find her first domino and tip it - with both hands, with full belief, with the knowing that she's not just changing one thing. She's beginning a wave that will move through everything, and reach further than she'll ever be able to see or measure. Find your first domino. Tip it. Watch what moves. episode Episode 18: Wanting More From a Life You Already Love artwork

Episode 18: Wanting More From a Life You Already Love

In this episode of Resonance Rising, Jess talks about something many women feel - the feeling of living a good life and still feel the pull of something more. That both things are true, and that somewhere along the way, someone convinced you they weren't. That the wanting meant you weren't grateful enough, trusting enough, aligned enough, and that if you'd really done the work, you'd be at peace with what you have. But the desire didn't go away. It's still there, pointing in a direction you haven't fully let yourself follow yet, and that's not a mindset problem, it's not a lack of faith, it's life asking you to move. She speaks to something she sees in the most intentional women she knows - where trust in the universe slowly becomes a place to rest instead of a place to launch from. Where faith is rooted and beautiful, and somehow the feet stay still. She also draws a clear distinction between "this isn't enough" and "I want more than this", because they can feel the same and there is a nuance. One contracts you, and one expands you. One keeps you spinning and one points you towards your path. Through the lens of Human Design, Jess explores how desire is woven into your design itself, and how your inner authority is already pointing you toward what is genuinely yours. This episode is for the woman who has done the inner work, shown up consistently, trusted the process, and still feels like she's dimming something true inside of her. You don't have to choose between gratitude and desire. You don't have to wait for permission to want what you want. The desire is not the problem. The desire is the direction. episode Episode 17: Allowing the Full Experience artwork

Episode 17: Allowing the Full Experience

In this episode of Resonance Rising, Jess explores the shift that happens when you allow more spaciousness into your life. She shares how constantly filling your calendar, your mind, and your energy can disconnect you from your inner voice, and how creating intentional space opens the door for clarity, creativity, and a deeper sense of self to emerge. Through personal reflections from a weekend of letting go of plans, productivity, and pressure, she reveals how following subtle nudges can lead to unexpected nourishment, alignment, and solutions. Jess speaks to the discomfort that can arise when you no longer fit the version of yourself you've outgrown, and how that feeling isn't something to fix, but an invitation to expand. She talks about the difference between a life that looks good and one that actually feels full - alive with presence, truth, and possibility. This conversation challenges the belief that wanting more is too much, and instead reframes those desires as signals pointing you toward a more honest and aligned way of living. This episode is an invitation to soften your grip on control and step into the unknown with curiosity. To notice where you might be overfilling your life to avoid what's underneath, and to trust that creating space isn't unproductive - it's where your truest direction finds you. If you've been feeling a quiet pull for something more, this is your permission to pause, listen, and begin following the breadcrumbs back to yourself.
