Greg Clarke SALON SOUL BROTHERS & SISTERS March 3 at 7:00 PM · Tonight’s Hump of the week is a duo who between them have run one of Dublins City’s biggest & busiest salons Ultimate Hair & Beauty for the last 28 years.Des Murray & Tanya Murray no relation other than a passion to lead people in a friendly family manner, Des one of my great friends and mentors opened Ultimate Hair & Beauty in Dublins GPO arcade back the 90s after running one of Peter Mark’s busiest salons in the Ilac Shopping Center. One of the industry’s true gentleman Des moved into retirement in 2020 and handing over the ownership of the salon to Tanya his Loyal right hand salon manager of over 15 years. Their story will inspire any young salon owner who has aspirations of building a team and after 28 years still have a lot of the original team working in the salon and for any salon coordinator or lead stylist who’d love someday take over the business they grew in. As a vital part of the IHF executive committee for over 18 years David has contributed to the development and growth of the federation in his time here. He has fronted the IHF Icons event for many a year and developed the Concept of The IHF Star Team that over the six years has produced some fantastic award winning stylists and outstanding stylists working in top salons here in Ireland and abroad.
