Sana Sana
I learned so many life lessons during my cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. It was as if my way of life was split in two parts, before my diagnosis and every moment after. I had to adapt, and to adapt, I had to learn and change. Which wasn’t easy for me. I was used to being the strong one, the one who never needed any help, the one who could actually put everything on my plate down to help someone else with their thing. Cancer took that from me, and because of that, I felt a new kind of love from my community. In this week’s episode, we’re talking about the 5 lessons that helped me navigate cancer treatment and protect my mental health. Cancer doesn’t come with a little pamphlet that tells you how everything in your life is going to change and what to do about it. They have those for medical treatments, but not for how the life you’re used to changing forever. That’s why I’m going to cut out the guessing game for you and teach you what I learned, so that maybe it will help you during and after treatment. Tune in to hear what changed in my life, what was added to my routine, and what got better once I worked through a few stubborn habits.
