Original Airdate: Aug 20, 1974 Episode 0136 "A Preview of Death" Written by Sam Dann, Directed by Himan Brown, Host: E.G. Marshall A young engineer suspects that a cable car serving a resort owned by his sister and brother-in-law might not be safe. His apprehension is increased when he dreams of the woman he loves (whom he has not yet met) dying in the car when it collapses. Fasten your seat belt for a breathtaking journey into the vast, mysterious, hidden recesses of your own imagination. Men who have a reputation for telling the truth are universally respected and admired. But on closer examination you're apt to discover that they have been showered with accolades after they died. What the habitual truth-teller is usually showered with during his lifetime is most often abuse. And it's understandable. In many cases, to tell the truth is to rock the boat. And why do that? Especially when the boat is warm and dry, while the water is cold and wet. Fantasy has become a most sale-able item and you can buy just about any fantasy you want. There are places that create the illusion of tropical jungles, complete with roaming animals. You can roam through realistic replicas of the past and relive the lives of earlier Americans. There are enchanted representations of the magic world of fairy tales and we are about to regale you with Helvetia. Helvetia, high in the Rocky Mountains, is a faithful reproduction of a tiny Swiss village. The young ladies who work there look like Heidi. The men know how to yodel. And there are chalets and cheeses and wonderful skiing. Indeed, everything you would expect to find in a Swiss resort. There is even a cable car suspended high above the valley. And we're about to get on board. Starring: Russell Horton, Marian Seldes, Clarice Blackburn
