EPISODE 2 - The Grover Twins - East Coast Youth on the Move
The Business Of Making Art - Episode 2
This week’s guests are Marcus Grover and Jerramy Grover. These young twins are excellent examples of young people from the East Coast who are taking their careers and their lives seriously.
Marcus hosts a weekly radio show for Atlantic Canada and beyond. He’s in his third year of a journalism degree with his sights fixed on a future career in broadcasting. His show, Views Of The 902, runs on Monday nights from 9-10 p.m. in Atlantic Time. To listen to his show and all the great shows put together by Atlantic Canadian volunteers, go to communityradio.ca [http://communityradio.ca/].
Jerramy also works on the show, but he has his sights set on a future career in business. He just completed a Business Administration diploma, and while he takes some time to weigh his options, he’s keeping busy working a lot of hours in retail and helping his brother with the radio show. He knows quite a bit about sports, so I’m hoping to see him working in a sports organization here in Atlantic Canada at some point.
In this episode, we talk about women in professional sports, journalism, the East Coast arts scene, and our adventures in Montreal.

See what it takes to be successful in Atlantic Canada.
I’m on a mission to inspire Atlantic Canadians to do what they love and to love what they do. I do it because I wish there was something like this that I could have listened to when I was figuring out what I wanted to do with my life.
My show is about Atlantic Canadians who work toward something that is hard to achieve. Or, is it? The people I talk to tend to seem like they enjoy their work. This phenomenon fascinates me, and I want to learn from these discussions. It stands to reason that you’ll learn something from them too. Who knows? Maybe these discussions will inspire you to do something you love… whatever that looks like for you. Take care.
