During the Y98 halftime show, Dale Schilly visited in-booth with Sam Fink, his former player back in the Saint Louis FC days with USL play in front of STL fans at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, MO. Dale and Sam also reminisced about STLFC’s historic 2019 Open Cup run up to the Quarterfinals at Sporting KC with epic support from STL fans who out-cheered The Cauldron. Finally, Sam expressed his gratitude for The Beautiful Game as a player and, now, as a fan and soccer dad as he is forever etched in the history of the nation’s soccer capital, St. Louis.

During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Emir Nalic, owner of Balkan Treat Box and Telva at the Ridge. Emir talked about his experience as a Bosnian immigrant living in St. Louis and building his successful restaurant business enjoyed around town and in Energizer Park. He shared his pride in sister-in-law, Loryn, who is a finalist for the "James Beard: Best Chef Midwest" again this year. Finally, Emir gave some insight on the excitement of the STL Bosnian community for CITY's “Summer of Soccer Presented by Purina” which will welcome Bosnia and Herzegovina’s National Team for training with an international friendly against World Cup-qualified Panama on Saturday, June 6th.
