The Dialogues Podcast Project
Artist and educator Catalina Gómez explores the gap between the Colombian Andes and Nordic context, examining how student mobility transforms understandings of art, knowledge, and identity across cultures. This episode features a dialogue fragment with Professor Mick Wilson—Director of Doctoral Studies at HDK-Valand (University of Gothenburg) and co-chair of the Centre for Art and the Political Imaginary—reflecting on how an early encounter with art created a "space of exception" beyond known limits. This dialogue is a shared reflective practice that invites you to join, using Wilson’s story and Gomez’s own as departure points to consider your formative aesthetic experiences and how they shaped your relation to art, learning, and possibility.
