Breast Cancer: A Faith Test

Today, we share a new "Faith Test": My breast cancer diagnosis. We love the definition of Faith: "Commitment Before Knowledge." This is another opportunity to walk with a limp. Jacob wrestled with God and, forever after, walked with a limp. It is an opportunity to present ourselves as living sacrifices, for if even one person is drawn closer to Jesus Christ. We have studied the Shema recently: Deut. 6:4-5. "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Dr. Meredith Travelstead from The Woman's Clinic was the Mission Speaker. She spoke on the mission of the American Society to advocate and support patients. She encouraged us to be "the tribe" in support of our breast cancer heroes. "We THE TRIBE have hope and that is why we fight. Let's continue this fight TOGETHER with our breast cancer heroes!"

Mary Margaret and James Adair - "On mission in Zambia, Africa -Where can I be useful for God?"

From Ole Miss to Zambia, Africa, from Campus Crusade for Christ to rural Central Africa, Mary Margaret and James have been walking in faith where God leads them. "Wherever you are, be all there."
