Breast Cancer: A Faith Test

Today, we share a new "Faith Test": My breast cancer diagnosis. We love the definition of Faith: "Commitment Before Knowledge." This is another opportunity to walk with a limp. Jacob wrestled with God and, forever after, walked with a limp. It is an opportunity to present ourselves as living sacrifices, for if even one person is drawn closer to Jesus Christ. We have studied the Shema recently: Deut. 6:4-5. "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Tickled Pink MS -2025 -Breast Cancer Fundraiser-Mission Speaker

Dr. Meredith Travelstead from The Woman's Clinic was the Mission Speaker. She spoke on the mission of the American Society to advocate and support patients. She encouraged us to be "the tribe" in support of our breast cancer heroes. "We THE TRIBE have hope and that is why we fight. Let's continue this fight TOGETHER with our breast cancer heroes!"
