Ulemj Glamuzina is a multi-awarded expat artist that was recently awarded The Miles Award for her piece “Odd One Out,” which was featured in the New Zealand Herald. Ulemj is originally from Mongolia, a daughter of diplomats, who lived in several countries until finding her home in New Zealand. We had a conversation about her journey as an expat and how she used to despise being different until one day she started accepting herself and found beauty in her unique qualities and experiences.
