Free Grace: The Light of Truth (Episode 3)

I have been told that my teaching of Free Grace is divisive, and that I am needlessly driving a wedge within the Christian community. Sure that may be true, but the Truth is always divisive when brought up against a lie. Much like the light divides the dark. So today, we are taking a rabbit trail, mainly because I find it fundamental to define what is real and true, and then explain why it is absolutely imperative that I share the true Gospel of the New Testament, that of Faith Alone in Grace Alone.

What Does Faith Alone in Grace Alone Really Mean?

Tonight we are discussing what exactly Faith Alone in Grace Alone really means. Are works needed to show evidence of saving faith? Does a person have to repent to receive grace? How much does a person's heart need to change to know that they are a genuine believer? These are all questions that must have ran through our minds at one point in time. Free Grace: Cursed to Eternal Damnation

I have recently made up my mind to study certain topics at depth and then after studying those topics, release them as a series through time. The first topic I would like to discuss with you all is that of Free Grace. Have you ever had it haunting you in the back of your mind if you were really “saved” in your faith or if you “genuinely” believed in Jesus the Christ as your savior? I have lived a chunk of my life stuck in this sort of rut, not sure if I was really saved or not, not knowing if my faith was producing enough “good works” to prove that I was a genuine believer. That was until I found the study of Free Grace. Throughout this series we will be setting up the foundations of Free Grace, as well as studying Arminianism, Calvinism, and Lordship Salvation. Today’s episode revolves around my personal background, what does it mean to have faith and to believe as well as studying if the word “Accursed” in the New Testament means “Damned to Hell” or something else entirely. I hope that this study will bring you as much comfort and joy as it has for me studying this material. We can know that we are saved, we don’t have to leave our minds in limbo about it, and it’s as easy as relying on the Grace of God.

Understanding Human Trafficking

As I read the Story, “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas” by Ursula K. Le Guin I am brought face to face with our very own culture, and though this story deserves a much deeper dive, I can’t help but tie it into what we are talking about today. We live in such comfort, subject to our own vices, and games that we have created within our own society. Much of the time we neglect the evils that go on all around us, because if we acknowledge them, then guilt begins to manifest within us, and we can’t have that. So we push it off to the side, we forget it exists, we turn a blind eye to it so we can keep living within whatever utopia we have within our own minds. Today I have two guests joining me to discuss the horrors of human trafficking, and to shed the light of hope in the darkness. The first is Becky Rasmussen founder of the Call to Freedom movement in Sioux Falls, SD. This is an organization that is helping victims of human trafficking get back on their feet, and rebuild their lives.
