The Filling Station: Full Service
In this episode, Jay Wesley is interviewing Robert Esh, a linguistics professor at a school in the Midwest. His job is to train up missionaries who want to be involved in Bible translation to the least reached people groups of the world. We get into Robert's life story about how he went from working a secular job, to being in an unreached tribal people group, to then working as a professor of linguistics. What we talk about in this episode: * Who would be a good fit for a ministry with linguistics? * We go through Robert's life story of how God changed Robert's path of ministry from working with tribal people, to training up missionaries in linguistics. * We go into several stories of how the Lord provided for his family all the way through their ministry. * Robert does a deep dive into what linguistics is all about. * Finally, Robert gives us the day in the life of a linguistics professor, so you can see if you would want to be one as well!
