The Filling Station: Full Service
David King is the Camp Director of a Christian camp in the southern United States. He has worked in camp ministry for over 20 years and has impacted thousands of campers and staff that have come through the program over the years. Right now his main goal during the summer is to lead the counseling staff as he trains them how to disciple the campers that come through each summer. He has impacted my life in many ways, and it is an extremely interesting person to talk to. If you are looking for a job this summer, his camp is hiring! They are still needing counselors and support staff as well, so if you want to make the most of this upcoming summer, than sieze the day! Send me an email or Jaybwesley@gmail.com, and I'll get you in touch with their program. It will definitely change your life for the better. In this episode we discuss: * Why David didn't feel adequate enough to join a ministry, but then was impacted by a few small events that would end up changing the course of his life even to this day * Why camp ministry was so appealing to him as a way to serve * How much life impact can happen through camp ministry, even in your own personal walk with Christ as well * David King gives the ins and outs of camp ministry: It's just life-on-life for the Lord! * David King gives some of his favorite stories from him time in camp ministry * David gives an encouragement for people wanting to get involved in a mission of making disciples * And so much more... If you want to get in touch with Jay Wesley personally to find out how you can get involved directly with his mission to the unreached overseas, feel free to email him at Jaybwesley@gmail.com Like the show?
