Trick 'r Treat (2007)

The Final Ghouls are back after a LONG hibernation, and we're exploring Halloween in... May? with Trick r' Treat! (Blame Jeremy for falling off on the editing. Life and work got in the way.) Holly, Jeremy and L dive into the seasonal horror anthology to explore which segments we like best, learn about the problems around the film's release, and give a lot of praise to the characters and content. The Final Ghouls are back and discovering our mutant powers as we explore the X-Men teen horror film The New Mutants!  Holly, Jeremy and L explore what works about this adaptation of the beloved comics (not much), what doesn't work (a lot), learn about its highly unfortunate production history amidst the Disney-Fox merger, and try to suss out exactly what went wrong here.
