Jesus wants to heal your nervous system - How to go from Survival to Soft

🕊️ Are you exhausted from carrying it all? Jesus said “Come to Me” — and He meant it.In this episode of God’s Daughters Podcast, we’re diving deep into the intersection of faith, mental health, and healing — because your nervous system matters to God.We explore what Scripture actually says about rest, anxiety, and the war happening in your mind — and what neuroscience confirms about how healing works.📖 In this episode we cover:✦ Matthew 11:28 — What it truly means to find rest in Christ when you’re running on empty✦ The 4 trauma responses of the sympathetic nervous system — fight, flight, freeze & fawn — and why you might be stuck in one or all four✦ Healing your nervous system through faith-based practices and spiritual truth✦ 2 Corinthians 10:5 — How to take every thought captive and overcome anxiety at the root✦ Strongholds explained neurologically — what the Bible called strongholds, science now calls neural pathways✦ Neuroplasticity & the Word of God — how renewing your mind (Romans 12:2) is literally how the brain rewires itself✦ The connection between chronic stress, trauma, and spiritual warfareThis episode is for you if:→ You’re a woman of faith struggling with anxiety, burnout, or emotional exhaustion→ You’ve been told to “just pray more” but still feel stuck→ You want to understand your mental health through a Biblical lens→ You’re on a healing journey and need to know God is in it💬 You are not broken. episode Pray for your Enemies artwork

Pray for your Enemies

Have you ever been hurt by someone and felt God nudging you to pray for them? This episode is for the woman in the middle of that hard, holy obedience. We’re getting real about what it actually looks like to pray for your enemies — not from a place of weakness, but from a posture of surrender, healing, and spiritual authority. We talk about releasing offense, loving people from a distance, and setting godly boundaries without guilt. Here’s the truth nobody talks about: forgiveness does not require reconciliation — especially without genuine repentance. We’ll walk through how to see difficult people through God’s eyes with both compassion AND discernment, and how to recognize the real enemy behind hurtful people (Ephesians 6).If you’re in a season of betrayal, broken relationships, or carrying weight from people who’ve wronged you — this episode will help you move from hurt to healing with grace, wisdom, and peace that passes understanding.

episode Protection Over Validation artwork

Protection Over Validation

In this powerful episode, I discuss God’s protection over our need for validation and how easily validation can become an idol if we’re not careful. Whether it’s validation from people, relationships, relationship status, social media, culture, or even self-validation, the desire to feel chosen can sometimes lead us outside of God’s will.I share my personal testimony about almost falling for a counterfeit relationship—from conversations about marriage to being pressured into having a baby outside of marriage. Through this experience, God revealed the importance of discernment, obedience, and trusting His timing instead of forcing a promise into existence. This episode also explores how to trust God’s protection through heartbreak, rejection, and abandonment wounds. Sometimes when God removes someone from our lives, it can feel painful or confusing. But often what feels like rejection is actually God’s protection.I also talk about God’s call for us to live holy and pure lives, including abstaining from sex before marriage and avoiding sexual immorality. The world often frames God’s boundaries as restriction, but in reality God’s standards are protection and freedom. When we honor His design for relationships, He protects our hearts, identity, and future. In this episode, I also dive into a Bible study examining the women in Genesis and what their stories reveal about validation, identity, and surrender to God. Looking at the daughters of Genesis—from Sarah and Hagar to Leah and Tamar—I explore how the desire for love, identity, and acceptance sometimes led to striving, manipulation, or attempts to bring forth promises in human strength rather than trusting God’s timing.I also reflect on the warning Jesus gave when He said to “remember Lot’s wife.” She was a woman God was trying to deliver, yet she looked back because it was difficult to let go of the identity and validation connected to her past. Her story reminds us that sometimes freedom requires releasing what once validated us so we can fully walk in God’s deliverance. This episode is about discernment in relationships, healing from rejection, surrendering control, and trusting God’s protection when He removes counterfeits from our lives. If you’ve ever struggled with:• Seeking validation from people or relationships• Heartbreak, rejection, or abandonment wounds• Waiting on God for marriage• Discernment in dating• Letting go of the past• Trusting God’s boundaries for purityThen this episode will encourage you to release the need for validation and trust God’s protection, timing, and design for your life.#christiandating #protection #discernment #waitingongod #christianpodcast #biblicalrelationships #FaithOverFeelings #healinginchrist #christianfaith #faithbasedpodcast #validation #idolatry #lettinggo #trustingod #trusttheprocess

episode Discerning the Python Spirit artwork

Discerning the Python Spirit

In this powerful episode, we expose the strategy of the Python Spirit—how it works to constrict a believer’s voice, suffocate spiritual authority, and delay destiny. Drawing from Acts of the Apostles (Acts 16), we examine the biblical symbolism of the python spirit and how it seeks to spiritually “wrap around” its target—restricting mental clarity, emotional stability, confidence, prayer life, and prophetic voice. We also explore how this same constricting influence can be seen in the deception of Eve in Book of Genesis. The enemy didn’t attack her physically—he targeted her mind, distorted God’s word, and subtly shifted her perception. The strategy was mental manipulation, emotional persuasion, and spiritual deception designed to move her out of position and away from promise. This is how constriction begins: through conversation, suggestion, and the gradual weakening of discernment. But this episode goes even deeper. We uncover how the Python Spirit can operate through counterfeit relationships—connections that appear aligned with purpose yet carry a hidden assignment. These relationships may feel prophetic, supportive, or divinely orchestrated, but over time they drain vision, distort identity, suppress voice, and introduce confusion. Their objective? To trick a believer out of position, delay their promise, and cause them to mishandle or miss their blessing entirely. The Python Spirit doesn’t always manifest through obvious attack. It constricts slowly—through flattery, emotional dependency, manipulation, control, intimidation, false affirmation, or subtle compromise. It seeks to silence conviction, weaken boundaries, and redirect focus away from destiny. In this teaching, you’ll discover:• How spiritual constriction targets the mind first• How Eve’s deception mirrors modern spiritual warfare• Signs of counterfeit relationships with hidden spiritual agendas• How delay and distraction are strategically engineered• How to break cycles of silence, confusion, and stagnation• Practical steps to reclaim your spiritual authority and promiseIf you’ve felt silenced, drained, mentally overwhelmed, or spiritually delayed—especially through key relationships—this episode will equip you with biblical insight, discernment tools, and breakthrough strategies to step boldly back into alignment.Your voice matters. Your discernment matters. Your promise is still yours.
