We continue in our Kingdom Governance direction by stepping into the reality of freedom—not just receiving it, but learning how to live in it. Through the lens of Isaiah 30 and the finished work of the cross, this message confronts a tension many of us feel: if Christ has set us free, why do we still live under old patterns, old voices, and old ways of thinking? Freedom in Christ is not something we simply hold—it is something we occupy. And often, what keeps us from living in that freedom is not a lack of truth, but the voices we’ve continued to trust. Fear, control, striving, and self-reliance still try to govern the “rooms” of our lives, even though their authority has already been removed. This message invites us to return and rest—to come back into alignment with what is already true, to stop striving to secure ourselves, and to trust the voice of God that is near, steady, and leading us. Because the cross didn’t just make freedom available—it removed everything that stood in the way of us living in it. So the question becomes: are we just believing we’re free… or are we actually living like it? Return. Rest. Trust. And begin to occupy the freedom that has already been given.

On Easter Sunday, we behold the King—not just in declaration, but in full revelation through the cross. This message draws us into the transformative reality of what Christ accomplished—not simply that He died, but that He gave Himself, revealing the very nature of His kingship. A King who does not rule through control or force, but through self-giving love, obedience, and sacrifice. Through the lens of the cross, we are invited to see more clearly: who He is, what He has done, and how His Kingdom truly operates. From the inscription declaring Him King, to the posture of His body, to the response of those beside Him—everything reveals both His nature and our invitation. Because the cross does not just reveal Christ—it reveals us. It brings us to a place of response. Will we receive Him as He truly is, or continue holding onto our own expectations? This is the good news: through the cross and the resurrection, access has been restored, transformation is available, and new life has begun. The victory has already been established. So the invitation remains—behold the King, respond to Him, and step into the life He has opened. Christ our King is risen. And He is reigning.

On Palm Sunday, we continue in our Kingdom Governance direction by looking at the moment Jesus was declared King—and the tension between expectation and reality. The crowd recognized Him, honored Him, and welcomed Him—but through the lens of what they thought a king should be. They expected power, control, and visible overthrow. Yet Jesus came revealing a different kind of Kingdom—one marked by humility, peace, and transformation from within. This message invites us to examine our own expectations. Where have we shaped Jesus into our image? Where are we asking Him to meet our definition of victory instead of yielding to His? Because Palm Sunday isn’t just a moment of celebration—it’s a revealing. A revealing of how easily we can recognize Him, yet still misunderstand Him. As we move toward the cross, we are invited to lay down our expectations and allow Jesus to define what His kingship truly looks like. Not just for us—but within us. Because Kingdom Governance is not about the kind of King we want—it’s about surrendering to the King He truly is.
