In this episode, I talk about how loneliness and isolation are a big issue in the world today, and how with faith, you can overcome it and be a better version of yourself. Following that, I talk about the latest news in the NFL, College Football, and the MLB. This was my first time covering sports so it was a little unorganized, but I promise that I will get better!

Anxiety

Psalms 46:1-3 - God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalms 46:10 - He says “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 34:4 - I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 55:22 - Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Combating Depression

Isaiah 41:10 – "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Matthew 11:28-30 – "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Romans 8:38-39 – "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Psalm 30:5 – "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." → This verse reminds us that sadness is temporary, and joy will come again. John 16:33 – "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." → Jesus acknowledges that struggles are real but reassures us that He has already won the victory. Psalm 147:3 – "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." → God is our healer, restoring us when we are hurting. Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." → Even in difficult times, God has a good plan for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 – "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." → When life feels uncertain, trusting in God’s wisdom brings peace and guidance. Romans 8:28 – "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." → Even our struggles are being used for a greater purpose.
