It's Valentine's Day!!! In this episode Rhonda and Khalia are exploring the love journey in a slightly different way - they are talking about Black Love Day (Feb. 13). According to the African American Registry, Black Love Day, which falls on February 13 every year, was established in 1993, and is spiritual holiday rooted in African cultures and ideas. The aim of this day is to complete the five tenets: to practice love toward "the Creator, for Self, for the Family, within the Black Community and for the Black Race" for 24 hours. Rhonda and Khalia, who just learned about this significant celebration, explore how learning of this new tradition has shaped the way they approach Valentine's Day.
