There were three significant civilizations we focused on; the Indus River Valley Civilization, Mesopotamia. Of course, there were others, but um, I uh didn't feel like talking about the others. While this was a successful method of living, there was a growing demand for change. But why? The hunter-gather diet was far healthier than the diet after this change. And hunter-gathers had much more leisure time than their advanced descends. So why would they make this change? Many anthropologists have suggested that the transition to the development of agriculture was to increase the intake of calories.
