The Bliss Project : The OFFICIAL first episode

Hey Guys, Welcome to the first OFFICIAL episode of The Bliss Project. Wow…what a 2 weeks it has been, am I’m excited to share with you what I have implemented, learned and discovered so far. My intention for this project is to give you an insight into my journey as well as to inspire you to potentially create some meaningful change in your life also. I know without a doubt, that if I am feeling this way, many others are too, so together we get to take this journey and learn and grow together in more BLISS! I invite you to take what feels good for you, and leave the rest. It’s all perfect. As I mention in this weeks episode, the 3 key things I have focused in this last 2 weeks have been… 1. Daily meditation (not negotiable) for 22:22 2. Having intentional NO PHONE time 3. No longer using filters on socials (THIS IS A BIG ONE!) I also share a question for you to reflect on that may offer you some insight into where you need to make some changes of your own to welcome more bliss into your life. Welcome to a NEW season of...The Nikii Syme Show THE BLISS PROJECT! I'm Nikii. A mama bear to 3 wild boys, partner to a beautiful man, an affiliate marketing boss babe, and all round epic QUEEN!! I am here to lead a REVOLUTION OF WOMEN COMMITTED TO AN ECSTATICALLY BLISSFUL LIFE. This new season of the show is centred around THE BLISS PROJECT! A project I have begun working on, which is essentially, ME, finding my BLISS again. After the birth of my third child, I have really struggled to find myself, and my JOY. I feel lost, and have done for the last 2 and a bit years. Coming into the 40th year of my time here earthside, I have decided enough is enough and I am beginning a year long journey of coming home to me, as a NEW woman. A woman who is a mother and has a new relationship with BLISS. The things that I used to do so freely as a single woman, have become harder with 3 kiddos, so this year is about discovering what truly makes me happy now. December 31st, 2023, I will turn 40 and I intend to be the happiest, healthiest and most joyful version of myself by this time. I will be sharing my journey along with way with you all, with the intention to lay it all bare and inspire you to find your Bliss too. This week I am joined by my first ever guest on the Birth Like A Badass Podcast, Keisha Boutwood! Keisha is a beautiful mama bear to 2 little humans, and on this weeks episode she shares her story about experiencing prolapse after the very fast arrival of her second Bub, Lenny. What’s interesting about Keisha’s story is that her prolapse wasn’t diagnosed until almost 3 years after the birth of her son. We speak about her 2 very different birth experiences. The trauma and lack of support she received after a post birth haemorrhage. How the hospital system let her down in her recovery. The different kinds of prolapse that can be experienced after birth. What her prolapse experience actually looked like. How she FINALLY got diagnosed. And her now road to recovery. What I loved about this episode is that it challenged my idea of what prolapse actually looks like. For me, I’ve always seen prolapse as extreme, insides coming out type thing, however this was not her experience at all. Given that 50% of first time mothers will experience a prolapse of some kind, I highly recommend EVERY mama or mama to be, listen in on this episode to inform yourselves of what to look for in regards to possible post part prolapse.
