Transitions, Life As A Newly Empty Nester!

Transitions! We all have them and this time I am talking about the shift from mom mode to empty nest life. Emotions that I didn’t expect and how can I give you insight for what might come your way as you enter new waters in parenting. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I share how I could see the transition taking place as Logan got a little more independence when he started driving. How to find the balance that worked for me between “letting him fly” all while keeping boundaries, trusting him and being ok with him learning the hard way. I open up about how I did my best to keep a solid foundation to still be his go to person and share what that looked like. Not always smooth sailing mom moments but the value of being authentic with him seems to have paid off! What is next for me as an empty nester? How did I prepare for this new chapter?
