Acerca de The Outside Line Podcast

Join Peter and Emma, two casual F1 fans who’ve gotten a bit too obsessed with the sport, to discuss all the week’s racing. Whether you’re a long time F1 fan, came in from Drive to Survive, or followed the One Direction to F1 pipeline, we hope you’ll enjoy our discussion of both the serious and the silly aspects of the Formula One circus. We’ll also cover Indycar, Formula E, F2, and F1 Academy in detail and keep an eye on what's happening in WEC, ELMS, IMSA, IndyNXT, FRECA, GB3, etc, etc. So if you’d like to hear us discuss the main on-track talking points, but also want to know which F1 driver has big eyes like an anime character, or if you missed any passive-aggressive inane chit chat between Crofty and Ted in FP2, then this is the podcast for you. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

episode Good Job Buddy - F1 Monaco and Indycar St. Louis artwork

Good Job Buddy - F1 Monaco and Indycar St. Louis

This week we cover the F1 race in Monaco and the Indycar race in St. Louis, both of which featured red flags, treating us to some fun shots of drivers having to hurriedly run back to their cars. This year Monaco shockingly delivered an exciting race, despite having little to no overtaking, as per usual. This was due to a plethora of mechanical issues and penalties that shook up the field to such an extent that Cadillac or Aston Martin were actually battling for points. Sadly F2, on the other hand, was far more straightforward. Luckily late night Indycar provided drama as Alex Palou’s amazing run of luck finally ran out of gas.  Music provided by Sascha Ende under the CC BY 4.0 license: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license [https://filmmusic.io/standard-license] ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. In F2, Rodin come good as Dunne and Horny show their pace, and in F1A, Palmowski shows why she is the favorite to win the championship this year. Last, but certainly not least, we recap an incredible Indy 500 which delivered all the hits: big crashes, weather delays, and an epic finish.
