Acerca de We Got Your 6@6 with THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT

Join us as WE come together to see the issues and the needs of today’s HEROES, our veterans and first responders. WE will discuss the solutions and see the organizations that are boots on the ground as WE combat the silent, invisible and deadly enemies our HEROES are facing. WE are a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit acting in the Mission to honor, empower and support those who have served. WE are the shock and awe in combating the silent, invisible and deadly enemies of our daily heroes, the First Responders and Veterans. Our goals come on many levels and forms as WE are raising awareness to those who do not know, WE are providing resources to those in need and WE provide the opportunities to those who are still interested in serving and/or have not had or taken the chance to serve before. WE are the beacon of hope for many to change their world through recalibration and rehabilitation. Our goals are to get our HEROES back into their families and communities. Happy Heroes create happy communities.

We Got Your 6@6 – Episode 306Alex – The Bearded Traveling Veteran & Music Spotlight: Scotty Hasting Episode 306 featured Alex, better known as The Bearded Traveling Veteran, whose mission is simple but powerful: connect with veterans, share resources, and help prevent the loss of more brothers and sisters in arms. After traveling more than 53,000 miles, Alex has met countless veterans across the country and has witnessed firsthand the challenges many continue to face after service. Having lost numerous battle buddies, he is passionate about raising awareness, building connections, and supporting organizations that are making a difference in the veteran community. Alex believes our current systems are failing too many veterans and hopes that by partnering with veteran-serving organizations, we can spread the word about available resources and create stronger support networks. His travels have already covered much of the southeastern United States, and he continues to build meaningful relationships everywhere he goes. We were honored to feature music and stories from veteran artist Scotty Hasting, who shared the inspiration behind several of his songs. "Scars" Originally intended to be an outlaw-style song, Scotty's fellow songwriters encouraged him to tell a more personal story. The result is a powerful reflection on both the physical and emotional scars that service can leave behind. "Good to Hear Your Voice" One of Scotty's most emotional songs, inspired by the passing of his father last year. After listening to an old voicemail from his dad, Scotty and his girlfriend transformed those feelings into a heartfelt tribute about loss, love, and remembrance. "Grateful" Years in the making, this song represents Scotty's heart and soul. It is a deeply personal expression of gratitude and resilience that he has been eager to share with listeners. A sincere thank you to Scotty Hasting for sharing your music, experiences, and message with our audience. Episode 305 – Daniel Herzog and Jared Buchanan | Beautifully Broken This week on We Got Your 6@6, we welcome Jared Buchanan and Daniel Herzog of Beautifully Broken, a powerful documentary project focused on resilience, healing, and the stories that connect veterans, first responders, and their families. Jared and Daniel share a unique bond that begins with a common thread in their lives—both were raised by law enforcement families. Jared, a Marine Corps veteran and corrections officer, carries with him the lessons and values instilled by his father. One message in particular, shared by his father before his passing, continues to guide his life and mission today. Jared has made it his purpose to share that message with others, raise awareness, and encourage those who may be struggling to find hope and connection. The passion Jared brings to every conversation is evident, and that passion is fueling a growing number of speaking engagements and opportunities to reach audiences across the country. His energy and commitment to helping others are impossible to miss. Joining him is Daniel Herzog, Director of Beautifully Broken. Daniel shares how his love for storytelling began as a child, creating small documentaries and visual stories. Throughout his career, he has often found himself drawn to the stories of veterans and first responders, seeking to capture both their struggles and their triumphs. Although Daniel had previously met Jared's mother, it was when he met Jared himself that the vision for this project truly came together. He was captivated by Jared's energy, authenticity, and the way he was navigating life's challenges while helping others do the same. That connection became the foundation for Beautifully Broken. For Daniel, this project has grown into something much larger than a documentary. From marketing and screenings to traveling alongside Jared for speaking engagements, he has become deeply invested in ensuring these stories reach the audiences who need to hear them most. Together, Jared and Daniel discuss the power of storytelling, the importance of vulnerability, and how sharing our experiences can help others find healing and purpose. Music Guest: Anthony Segovia This week's musical guest is Anthony Segovia, a Marine Corps veteran whose military roots run deep, with both parents and many family members having served. During the COVID pandemic, Anthony picked up a guitar and began a journey that has led him to songwriting and performing. 🎵 "Those Days" Recorded in Dallas, Texas, this was Anthony's first country song. Looking back on difficult moments in life, he reflects on how experiences that felt overwhelming at the time often become memories viewed through a different lens. It's a nostalgic reminder to appreciate the journey. 🎵 "Dream" Written shortly after "Those Days," this song offers hope in the midst of struggle. Drawing from challenges both before and after his Marine Corps service, Anthony opens up with vulnerability while delivering a message that healing and resolution are possible. 🎵 "Fall Time Leaves" A bittersweet reflection on a relationship that ended not because of conflict, but because life took two people in different directions. The song explores acceptance, growth, and the lingering hope that some stories may find their way back around. Thank you to Jared Buchanan, Daniel Herzog, and Anthony Segovia for sharing your stories, experiences, and talents with us. Your dedication to helping others and creating meaningful conversations continues to inspire. Episode 304 – Javier Guitron This week on We Got Your 6@6, we welcome Javier Guitron, a straightforward, honest, and driven veteran who shares his military experiences, his plans for the future, and the lessons he has learned along the way. Javier spent several impactful years serving in the military and looks back on that chapter of his life with pride. Today, he is focused on the next mission—completing his Master's degree and preparing for law school. He currently works in executive protection, a career he enjoys and excels at, while continuing to pursue even greater opportunities. Like many veterans, Javier reflects on the value of military service while also considering what the future may hold for his son. While he may hope his son chooses a different path, he is committed to supporting whatever decision he ultimately makes. One of the highlights of the conversation is Javier's memorable Special Forces story. While the experience itself may not have been funny at the time, Javier's ability to find humor and perspective in the situation makes for a great story and an even better lesson. When asked what advice he would give those transitioning out of the military, Javier offered a powerful message: "Monetize yourself and your time." He encourages veterans to continue developing their skills, investing in themselves, and adding value wherever they go. By becoming highly capable and continually growing, veterans can create opportunities and build successful futures beyond their military service. Music Featured This Week 🎵 "Dear Mom" – Shannon Book 🎵 "Whiskey Kills" – Matt Rawls 🎵 "Til the Last Shots Fired" – Scotty Hasting featuring Lee Brice and Dolly Parton Thank you to Javier for sharing his experiences, wisdom, and outlook with our listeners, and thank you to our featured artists for providing the soundtrack to another great episode. Noel shares the heart behind Rebuild the Brave, the impact they are already making, and the momentum coming off their first major event. With purpose, drive, and a clear mission, Noel talks about what it means to keep building something bigger than yourself—and why the work is only just beginning. Music Guest: Jamey Peacock Returning after his first visit in October 2023, Jamey Peacock joins us solo, bringing growth, perspective, and powerful storytelling through his music. * “VFW” – Jamey opens with a song that reflects how his understanding of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has evolved—from seeing it as just a gathering place to recognizing it as a space for healing, brotherhood, and finding your people after service. * “Heathens & Horseflies” – A reminder that life doesn’t divide us into “haves” and “have nots”—we all walk the same road together. * “Chasin’” – The very first song Jamey ever wrote—the moment he decided he was going to pursue music and never look back. In Episode 301, we sit down with Rebekah Gundrum, a Navy veteran whose passion for supporting her brothers and sisters in the veteran community is nothing short of inspiring. As the founder of Triggered 22, Rebekah shares the deeply personal journey that led her to create a mission-driven organization focused on addressing PTSD and suicide among veterans. With over 20 years of service and two sons currently serving, Rebekah brings both lived experience and hard-earned wisdom to the conversation. She opens up about the realities many veterans face after service and emphasizes the importance of staying connected—because, as she says, “in the community is where we need to be.” Her goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that no one feels alone and that every veteran knows there is hope, healing, and access to resources that can help them reclaim their lives. This episode also features music from Marine Corps veteran Luke Morgan, whose songs add depth and emotion to the conversation. From “Shotgun,” a tribute to lessons learned the hard way, to “Gaslight,” a bold take on manipulation in today’s world, and “Man I Used To Be,” a reflection on growth and fatherhood—Luke’s music perfectly complements the heart of this episode. We close with updates from The People’s Patriot Project, including upcoming community events like Patriots in the Park, the Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon gathering, and exciting initiatives like the online auction and Frontline Freedom Fest. This episode is a powerful reminder that through connection, purpose, and community, healing is possible—and no one has to walk that journey alone. Next Week's Guests:    26 May 2026 * Noel Mitchell - Rebuild the Brave * Jamey Peacock
