Episode 14 - A Conversation With My Father

In this episode, I sit down with my dad for a meaningful conversation about his upbringing, the experiences that shaped him into the man, husband, and father he became, and the story of how he found his faith in Jesus. We dive into what faith looked like in the middle of real life — marriage, raising children, learning lessons, and trying to lead a family with love and purpose. Hearing his perspective reminded me how much of who I am today was built through the sacrifices, prayers, and example of the generation before me. Whether you’re a parent, a son or daughter, or someone trying to navigate faith and family in today’s world, I think this conversation will encourage you. It’s a reminder that our stories — both the struggles and the victories — can leave a lasting legacy.

episode Episode 13 - Grumbling Through Blessings artwork

Episode 13 - Grumbling Through Blessings

In this episode, we have an honest conversation about gratitude, answered prayers, and how quickly we move on to wanting more. How often do we stop to truly thank God for what He’s already done before we start complaining about what we think is missing next? We reflect on our own lives and realize that many of the things we now stress over are the very things we once prayed desperately for. From family and work to opportunities and everyday blessings, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s faithfulness when we become focused on our next desire instead of our current blessing. We also compare our relationship with God to the relationship we have with our own children. As parents, we understand how meaningful gratitude is and how difficult it can feel when blessings are ignored in favor of constant demands for more. That perspective challenged us deeply in the way we approach God. This episode is a reminder to slow down, reflect, and remember the prayers God has already answered. Maybe the life we’re complaining about today is the same life we once begged God for yesterday.

Episode 12 - You Are What You Eat

In this episode, we take an honest look at something most of us rarely question—the content we consume every single day. From TV shows and movies to music, books, and especially social media, what we allow into our minds has a deeper impact on our mental and emotional health than we often realize. And the truth is… it’s usually happening without us even noticing. We talk through real-life examples of how certain types of content can either bring peace or quietly fuel anxiety, comparison, negativity, and stress—especially depending on what season of life we’re in. What feels like “unwinding” in the moment might actually be making things heavier. This conversation is a reminder that consumption isn’t neutral. It’s shaping how we think, how we feel, and ultimately how we live. As adults, we don’t outgrow the need for boundaries—we just stop paying attention to them.

episode Episode 11 - We’re Just Being Honest artwork

Episode 11 - We’re Just Being Honest

In this episode we open up about a recent moment that didn’t sit right with us. We had a simple opportunity to engage with others—to be kind, welcoming, and maybe even plant a seed—but instead, we stayed to ourselves and let the moment pass. At the time, it didn’t seem like a big deal. But later, it hit us. We started reflecting on how easily we’ve allowed the world to shape us—how skepticism toward new people has quietly replaced openness, and how comfort has taken priority over our calling. As followers of Christ, we’re called to love people, to be light, to share the gospel… and in that moment, we didn’t. This episode is about that conviction. It’s about recognizing how subtle these shifts can be, how “normal” it feels to hold back, and how important it is to realign our hearts when we realize we’ve missed the mark. We’re not sharing this because we got it right—but because we didn’t. And next time, we want to do better.

Episode 10 - Dealing with Fear and Anxiety

In this episode, we open up about fear and anxiety—the kind everyone talks about, and the kind people usually keep hidden. From everyday worries to the deeper, more personal struggles, we share what it really looks like to wrestle with fear in real life. It’s easy to say we trust God… but much harder to live it out when anxiety takes It’s easy to say we trust God… but much harder to live it out when anxiety takes over and emotions feel overwhelming. We talk honestly about those moments—when faith feels distant, when fear feels louder, and when we find ourselves stuck in between what we believe and what we feel. This conversation isn’t about having perfect faith. It’s about being real in the middle of it. We close with a powerful reminder: trusting God doesn’t mean we won’t face the things we fear. It means we can trust that when those fears become reality, He will meet us there—and carry us through.
