Descripción

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast with guest host Mmabwe Mulawisha, we explore James 5 and discover a powerful truth: God does not waste pain. James encourages believers to endure hardship, pray through affliction, seek healing, and trust God in every season of life. Using Job as an example, the passage reminds us that endurance is possible because God's mercy is greater than our suffering.  Mambwe shares deeply personal testimony about loss, grief, and learning to trust God through some of life's most difficult moments. Through the loss of her mother and the challenges that followed, she discovered that pain can either drive us away from God or draw us closer to Him. Rather than allowing hardship to destroy her faith, she learned to pray, trust, and build a relationship with God that carried her through the storm.  The conversation also highlights the importance of personal prayer, spiritual maturity, and allowing God to work in us through both victories and trials. Whether you're afflicted, joyful, sick, struggling, or simply trying to understand what God is doing, James reminds us to pray. The message is simple but powerful: Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep enduring. Because God knows what it takes to save, strengthen, and sustain you. #PressToPray #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #James5 #FaithInHardTimes #PrayerWorks #ChristianPodcast #HealingPrayer #TrustGod #Endurance #FaithJourney Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

Jesus First

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we journey into Hebrews 13 with Erin Harris and explore one of the most powerful closing prayers in Scripture. The unknown author of Hebrews concludes a book filled with faith, endurance, sacrifice, and perseverance by pointing believers back to the One who makes it all possible—Jesus Christ.  Throughout Hebrews, readers are reminded that Jesus is greater than angels, greater than Moses, greater than the priesthood, and the perfect sacrifice for sin. He established a better covenant through His blood and opened the way for believers to receive eternal redemption. The closing prayer reflects all of these themes, asking God to make His people perfect in every good work and equip them to do His will.  Erin shares her personal testimony of walking away from God, discovering that her own path led only to pain, and finding restoration when she surrendered to God's will. Her story becomes a living example of Hebrews' message: God is able to keep us, transform us, and complete the work He started in us. This episode reminds us that Jesus isn't merely a solution to our problems—He is the path to becoming who God created us to be. #PRESSMovement #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #Hebrews13 #JesusFirst #ChristianPodcast #FaithJourney #GodsWill #SpiritualGrowth #EndureInFaith #PrayerLife Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

Keep Going!

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we explore Paul's prayer in 2 Thessalonians 1 and what it means to be counted worthy of the calling of God. Writing to a church facing persecution and hardship, Paul doesn't promise easier circumstances. Instead, he prays that God would strengthen them, fulfill the work of faith with power, and glorify Himself through their lives.  Reagan Porter joins the conversation and highlights the importance of remaining steadfast through difficult seasons. Together, we discuss how faith is strengthened before the battle arrives, why testimonies matter, and how God uses the stories of one generation to encourage the next. A powerful reflection on the PRESS Movement itself reminds us that God often uses painful seasons to produce purpose and bring people into our lives that we never knew we would need.  The episode also examines the tension between temporary suffering and eternal perspective. While culture encourages comfort and self-preservation, Scripture calls believers to endure, trust God's goodness, and remain faithful even when following Christ is difficult. Ultimately, this prayer reminds us that God's goal is not merely our comfort—it's our transformation, our endurance, and His glory being revealed through our lives.  #PRESSMovement #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #2Thessalonians #ChristianPodcast #FaithUnderPressure #SteadfastFaith #PrayerLife #BiblicalEncouragement #ChristianGrowth #EndureWithFaith Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

A Prayer to Stand Fast with Will Irvin, Guest Host

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, with guest host Will Irvin, we dive into 1 Thessalonians 3—a powerful reminder that standing strong in faith is rarely easy, but it is always worth it. Paul writes to believers who are facing pressure, persecution, and opposition simply because they chose to follow Christ. Instead of pretending hardship won’t come, Paul encourages them to stand fast, remain rooted, and remember they are not alone. One of the most moving themes in this episode is the importance of spiritual community. Paul sends Timothy to check on them because faith was never meant to be fought in isolation. This episode also delivers a powerful challenge for today’s generation: how do you stay settled in God when culture pulls in the opposite direction? The answer is found in relationship, conviction, and remembering what God has already done. One standout line from the episode says it all: “Why die for a penny when you’ve found something priceless?” If you’ve ever felt alone in your faith… pressured to compromise… or tired of standing out because you stand for Christ—this episode is for you. Stay encouraged.  Stay rooted.  Stand fast. Because love makes a difference.  Prayer makes a difference.  God hears when we call. #PressToPray #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #ChristianPodcast #StandFast #FaithUnderPressure #1Thessalonians #YouthForChrist #ChristianEncouragement #PrayerLife #FaithCommunity Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

episode Lord, Keep Me artwork

Lord, Keep Me

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we unpack Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1—a prayer focused on spiritual maturity, endurance, and truly knowing God. Paul doesn’t pray for comfort. He prays that believers would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding so they can walk worthy of the Lord. This episode explores the difference between knowing about God and actually knowing Him. Intellectual knowledge isn’t enough. Degrees, theology, and information cannot replace revelation through the Spirit of God. Real understanding comes when the Author explains His own words. Paul also prepares believers for reality: hardship will come. Longsuffering will come. Patience will be required. But the instruction is clear: Have joy anyway. Because your circumstances do not change what God has already done. You’ve already been delivered from darkness.  You’ve already been redeemed.  You’ve already been forgiven. This episode is a reminder to keep growing, keep fighting, and keep the main thing the main thing. And perhaps the most honest prayer of the episode: “Lord, keep me—even when I don’t feel like being kept.” #PRESSMovement #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #ChristianPodcast #Colossians1 #SpiritualGrowth #FaithInHardTimes #BiblicalPrayer #HolySpiritWisdom #KingdomLiving #PrayerLife Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!
