The unknown author of Hebrews concludes a book filled with faith, endurance, sacrifice, and perseverance by pointing believers back to the One who makes it all possible—Jesus Christ.  Throughout Hebrews, readers are reminded that Jesus is greater than angels, greater than Moses, greater than the priesthood, and the perfect sacrifice for sin. He established a better covenant through His blood and opened the way for believers to receive eternal redemption. The closing prayer reflects all of these themes, asking God to make His people perfect in every good work and equip them to do His will.  Erin shares her personal testimony of walking away from God, discovering that her own path led only to pain, and finding restoration when she surrendered to God's will. Lord, Keep Me

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we unpack Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1—a prayer focused on spiritual maturity, endurance, and truly knowing God. Paul doesn’t pray for comfort. He prays that believers would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding so they can walk worthy of the Lord. This episode explores the difference between knowing about God and actually knowing Him. Intellectual knowledge isn’t enough. Degrees, theology, and information cannot replace revelation through the Spirit of God. Real understanding comes when the Author explains His own words. Paul also prepares believers for reality: hardship will come. Longsuffering will come. Patience will be required. But the instruction is clear: Have joy anyway. Because your circumstances do not change what God has already done. You’ve already been delivered from darkness.  You’ve already been redeemed.  You’ve already been forgiven. This episode is a reminder to keep growing, keep fighting, and keep the main thing the main thing. Love Tells The Truth

In this episode, we explore Paul’s powerful prayer in Philippians 1—a prayer that goes deeper than surface-level faith. Paul doesn’t just pray for love. He prays that love would abound with knowledge and judgment. Why? Because love alone, without truth and discernment, can lead us in the wrong direction. True, biblical love is not passive—it is intentional, informed, and aligned with God’s will. It requires understanding who God is and the ability to discern what pleases Him. This kind of love challenges us to grow, to correct, and sometimes to confront—not out of emotion, but out of truth. Even more powerful is the context: Paul writes this while in chains. Bound physically, yet still praying for others to grow spiritually. That’s real love.
