Gibbs claims that Jalen Brunson at a minimum moves to Joe Namath levels of sports legend if the Knicks can win the Championship. Gibbs also believes the US men's Hockey team and this Knicks team have put the ball on the tee for the US Men's national soccer team to capture the affections of the country this summer with a strong showing at the World Cup. We have all had the experience of playing a game you want to win and you see the end of the game quickly approaching. The clock is running down, the outs are quickly piling up, there are only a few plays left. We have all felt that pressure before. Gibbs talks today about the weight of time. There is a sports controversy in the Gibbs house about whether the 150lb dumbbells in Aaron Donald's workout video from last week are real or props. Gibbs believes they are real and heavy just like the idea that time will eventually run out on each of us is in this mortal body is heavy to consider.
