episode The Devouring Mother artwork

The Devouring Mother

Jaguar Heart - Coach and Teacher, helps free people from their subconscious conflicts of the mind. Do you have repeating endless cycles you can’t break? Don’t we all. But Jag is your guy if you really want to break through and dissolve them, and truly get to the root cause of your conditioning / programming. You’ll have to be brave, this work isn’t for the faint-hearted but it will most certainly change your life. He’s direct and for good reason, he has a passion for supporting healing and change on a wide scale.  In this second episode and conversation together on The Shared Road Podcast, we discuss the Devouring Mother archetype and the qualities of healthy relationships moving forward. For some, it may stretch and press on discomfort within, or for others provide some language and illumination around what you have been longing to articulate but couldn’t find the words. It could go either way, and all I ask is that you remain open, as Jag and I speak on territory that could make some very uncomfortable (regarding suicide in relation to abusive partners and mothers) and perhaps touch on your own wounds in ways that you hadn’t ever considered. This conversation had the permission to speak of others stories, and of what we felt called to address, through the lense of our collective and individual experience with life. I hope that you understand for both of us, we have these controversial & tender conversations because we feel there is the need, for those who are seeking support through the lense of both compassion and fierce truth - of course our truth, yet maybe it resonates for you too. To work with Jag or learn more you can find him on Instagram @purejaguar or via his website www.jaguarheart.co [http://www.jaguarheart.co/] Carly offers private Mentoring (online or in person), for those seeking clarity, support or guidance around these complex topics.Instagram @thesharedroad or www.thesharedroad.com.au [http://www.thesharedroad.com.au/]  If this conversation raises any serious concerns for you or someone you know and they need additional support, please consider calling a local or national helpline in your area. episode The Empath’s Way artwork

The Empath’s Way

Alexa shares her story of a relationship she never thought would happen to her. In 2020, during the Covid lockdown in Los Angeles, she joined dating apps, looking to connect with new people. She recounts how her first abusive relationship took her completely by surprise. Her partner became extremely jealous, a behavior she initially confused with being protective. This jealousy escalated into extreme emotional outbursts followed by periods of love-bombing, creating a toxic cycle. Alexa describes how she learned to de-escalate frightening situations, including instances of physical harm. Throughout this complex time, I admire how Alexa holds herself with such strength and grace. Her intuitive wisdom played a crucial role in ensuring her safety and developing an exit strategy. Alexa shares important insights during our conversation, and I hope her story helps you or someone you know navigate similar challenges. Carly offers online & in-person private Mentoring, for those seeking clarity, support or guidance around these complex topics.
