Descripción

Hello friends, In my Dutch friend group, everyone has followed the same path. They bought a house 5-10 years ago and because of the ricing housing prices, they now have €200K+ in added value to their net worth. I did none of that, lived a more colorful life, and have always felt regret of missing out on this financial opportunity. After changing my career and transforming my financial situation, I now have more options. I could buy a house if I wanted to. But I’m choosing to live in a small van instead. In this video I’ll share more details about my financial situation and what I’m planning to do in the years to come. I’m optimizing for travel and experiences, and I don’t want to tie myself down into one location, even though it might be better for my long-term wealth and business. But who cares about that if you can die at any moment? Plenty of people get diagnosed with terminal diseases in their thirties and forties. Life is short, and it could end at any moment. What do you think? What are you optimizing for? Let me know in the comments. Have a great weekend, Mischa P.S. here’s the link to the Van Life Europe community :) [https://www.skool.com/van-life-europe-1300/about] This is a public episode. A tour of my camper van setup

Hello friends, During this trip I’ve been doing more live streaming on Twitch [https://www.twitch.tv/mischavandenburg] and then one of my mentors rwxrob dropped in. He’s one of my inspirations to do more live streaming, and he’s also on a journey to become a digital nomad. So when he dropped in on the stream, it felt natural to do a full tour of my setup. This is is a cut from that stream, it’s raw and unedited so feel free to skip through the irrelevant parts. Let me know if you like the setup in the comments! Mischa This is a public episode. Reflections on Entrepreneurship

Hello friends, Writing you from the wonderful Black Forest in Germany. I’m out here with my van for a few weeks, working from the road. I went on a hike yesterday and had some thoughts about entrepreneurship. In this video I share why I do it, some of the struggles I went through, and why it might be the right path for you as well. It’s not just about money. It’s about so much more. It’s about designing your ideal life and routine. For me, this means being able to write this mail to you while sitting in a cozy van wearing a woolen sweater while it’s raining outside. Appreciate you, Mischa This is a public episode. Do you ever feel stuck in your thoughts?

Your body may be the answer. In this video, I share my reflections on awareness of the body and how it can help you calm your mind. I recently went on a three day camp camping trip Specifically to reconnect with my body so that I can put my mind in a state of optimal performance for an intense phase of work that I’m about to enter. A mind that wanders all over the place is not very useful when studying or doing mental work and this is one of the ways how I bring my mind to a state of complete peace and stillness so that I can use it to reach my goals.
