Acerca de The Spiritual Realest

I was raised Christian but I have decided to take my relationship with God into my own hands and out of the contructs of what I was taught. The Spiritual Realest is a space for honest conversations about what it really looks like to grow, question, and stay grounded in your spiritual journey. No performance and no pretending, just real life, real challenges, and real alignment. If you are learning how to trust yourself, unlearn what no longer serves you, and live with intention, this is for you. I just want to set the captives free!

I Let My Ego Call it Love - Episode 17

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m talking about ego, identity, control, and the way pride can disguise itself as love, loyalty, purpose, or protection. Using patchouli as the grounding oil of this episode, I reflect on how ego can take over when we attach our identity to a relationship, a role, or an image we are afraid to release. I share a deeply personal story about toxic love, control, obsession, and the moment I finally had to choose freedom over possession. This episode is about learning that not every thought is truth and not every attachment is alignment. It is a reminder to pause before reacting, observe before defending, and ask ourselves the harder questions: Am I trying to prove something? Am I acting from fear? Am I trying to control something just so I can feel secure? Because ego reacts, but spirit observes. And real love should never require me to lose myself just to keep it. What Religion Took from Us - Episode 16

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m having an honest conversation about religion, power, and what many of us were taught to believe without question. I talk about the difference between being taught God and being taught religion, and how fear-based beliefs have shaped the way we see ourselves, our desires, our ancestors, our worth, and our relationship with the divine. This episode is not about telling anyone what they have to believe. It is about asking better questions, getting understanding, and recognizing where inherited teachings may have separated us from our own power. With dragon blood as the scent of the day, we step into a conversation about protection, courage, spiritual strength, and spiritual warfare without fear-based religion. I share my personal perspective on Christianity, ancestral connection, identity, faith, and the importance of doing your own research. This is a reminder to stop accepting everything just because it was handed down, and to begin asking what truly brings you closer to God, closer to yourself, and closer to the truth of your own bloodline. Heavenly minded, but earthly good. The Peace in the Pause: When God Makes You Wait - Episode 15

In The Peace in the Pause, I’m reflecting on the season when COVID forced me to stop, breathe, and finally confront the exhaustion I had been pushing through for years. After running a restaurant, overworking my body, and trying to force the next move, the pause became uncomfortable, emotional, and necessary. This conversation is about stillness as more than rest. It can be redirection. It can be protection. It can be the place where God rebuilds my faith, restores my body, and teaches me how to trust without needing to control every outcome. I share how closed doors, failed pivots, and uncertainty eventually showed me that the pause was not punishment. It was preparation. Sometimes what feels like nothing happening is the very space where clarity, peace, and alignment begin to form. If you have been feeling guilty for slowing down or afraid of what comes next, this is your reminder that pausing does not mean you are lazy. Stillness can be sacred. Rest can be obedience. And peace can meet you right in the middle of the unknown. Take ten quiet minutes this week. No phone. No noise. No distractions. Just listen. You may hear exactly what you have been too busy to receive.  The Spiritual Realist is edited and produced by Organized Movements [https://organizedmovements.com/] Recorded at Privicast Studio [https://privicaststudio.com/] Subscribe on YouTube @thespiritualrealest [https://www.youtube.com/@TheSpiritualRealest] Follow on Instagram @thespiritualrealest [https://www.instagram.com/thespiritualrealest]

episode Stop Being a Slave to Being Less Than artwork

Stop Being a Slave to Being Less Than

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m talking about freedom in a deeper way. Juneteenth is not just a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of what happens when people are kept bound by evil intentions, lack of knowledge, and systems that benefit from them not knowing they are already free. But that kind of bondage did not stop in the past. A lot of us are still mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and even religiously enslaved to things that no longer serve who we are becoming. I’m asking the real question: what are you still allowing yourself to remain captive to? A relationship? A job? A title? A tradition? A belief system? A version of yourself that was shaped by fear, obedience, survival, or validation? In this conversation, I reflect on Juneteenth, mental slavery, religion, curiosity, spiritual knowledge, and what it really means to seek wisdom, understanding, and truth for yourself. We also talk about frankincense, spiritual elevation, divine truth, and how every path worth walking should lead you back to deeper awareness. This week, I want you to sit with three questions: What have you always believed?  Why do you still believe it?  And does it still align with who you are today? I’m Scarlett Draught, heavenly minded, but always earthly good. Stop being a slave to being less than. episode The Work of Faith artwork

The Work of Faith

What happens when you believe something is supposed to happen, but every step forward feels like another delay? In this episode, I talk about faith, frustration, waiting, and the uncomfortable space between knowing something is meant for you and actually seeing it show up. For a long time, I thought faith was simply believing. What I eventually learned is that faith often asks something of us in return. Sometimes it asks us to wait. Sometimes it asks us to trust. And sometimes it asks us to do something that pushes us outside of what we've always known. Let's have an honest conversation about patience, endurance, sacred waiting, and what it means to keep moving when it feels like nothing is moving at all. I'm Scarlett Draught, heavenly minded but earthly good.
