Is preparation overrated? What is a celebrity in this society? Failing educational system?

#1 Yesterday we recorded an episode without preparing for it. Needless to say it was an absolute mess! Why is it important to prepare for things we are about to undertake? When does preparation become procrastination? How can we adopt tools to help us be more effective in this age of instant gratification? #2 What does it mean to be a celebrity in 2018? Oh sh!t I dropped the ball! Has failure become cliche?

#1 Oh sh!t I dropped the ball… How many times can we drop the ball before we burn out and have to move on? Is dropping the ball acceptable? What are the implications? Do we always get another chance to go at it again? #2 Has failure become cliche? It seems that everyone of all ages sees failure as this positive thing that is a great thing. But nobody likes to give real life experiences only the cliche ones. Why is that? #3 Why are we losing so many young people to suicide? There is an epidemic amongst young people which hasn’t received the amount of coverage you would expect. Does the rain ever stop? Is Success achievable? What is going on in our schools?

A few weeks into the January and the challenges/problems have started coming in thick and fast. * Does the journey ever get easier? * Do we ever get to the point where the challenges/problems ever stop coming? * Is life tragic? #2 Can you ever really achieve success? Everyone's idea of success is always adapting and growing the more the individual achieves. Is there truly an achievable end goal? #3 Epidemic stress levels for teachers - what effect does this have on our young people? 3,750 teachers on long-term sick leave, a stress epidemic has been reported by the Guardian. The Problem: * Budget cuts. * Bigger classrooms * Fewer teaching staff This is clearly leading in one direction for the teachers and the students involved…. Why don’t we care about those who are responsible for nurturing the talent of tomorrow’s future? Why are we not concerned about their welfare. Do we just expect them to get on with it? What effect will this have on the young people at the centre of this problem?
